The home features 3 light and airy bedrooms and will comfortably sleep 6 guests, making it ideal for families and small groups to enjoy. The outside deck is perfect for afternoon dining, so grab a glass of wine and food platter and enjoy the sun. For the boating and fishing enthusiasts or stay-in and curl up with a book, this is a fantastic base for everyone to come home to at the end of a day of exploring and enjoying waterside activities, and enjoy the outdoor firepit (BYO wood). I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: HiIn the kitchen, the equipment was not enough and you didn't even have salt or spices, and the toilet downstairs was poop when you used it, you didn't even flush it, and there were a lot of insects inside the house, and we were scratching, and in general, it was very dirty everywhere and The kitchen equipment was not enough, we had to buy.

Beautiful view

Loved the location, just out of town on top of a hill with beautiful views. Enjoyed our afternoons on the deck watching the wildlife. Old house with modern furnishings. Only negatives were wrong code for check in, a few missing items in house: cheese grater, dish rack, face washers, no bbq. Would definitely come back!

Metung Holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. I would have to say the house was neat and tidy but not clean. Upon arrival there was a dirty towel in the washing machine, mould in the bathroom sink and the toilet upstairs smells like body odour.The house itself was very spacious, great backyard except for the contaminated water that randomly spurts out of a pipe near the washing line.The carpets in the house are a nightmare. Brown fibres covered our clothing everyday just walking over it - it drove me crazy especially with two children that like to roll on the floor at any given moment. I’d say for the money we paid (which was quite a lot being the school holidays) the place is in dire need of a fix/clean up.The town of Metung is lovely, friendly people and quite a bit to do in surrounding areas.
