About this property

Most Desirable Home. Steps to the beach, mountain, downtown.

When you're ready to start your day, you may decide to cozy at home on the deck or venture out... Romance? Family get away? Okanagan Lakeshore (the biggest pool in the area), Knox Mountain, breweries, restaurants and coffee shops are all literally, only steps away.
The house is recently renovated and has new appliances, windows , and floor. There is an open concept kitchen/living area and a large shaded deck for outdoor living, 6 months of the year.

The garden has huge cherry trees in the back and an old heritage apple tree in the front.

Fresh, clean, simple and full of light. The space is designed to be pet, work and family friendly.

The neighborhood is the best. It is quiet, laidback and located close to everything - Knox mountain has lots of trails and an off leash dog park. The lake is literally 2 blocks away. Downtown is the farthest, at a 20 minute walk.... however, there are dog friendly breweries and coffee shops along the way. The rail trail is also only a block from the house. It's a hidden gem.

If I were looking for a great place to vacation or stay for awhile, I'd choose this. There are all the amenities you need to cook and clean. It is comfortable and ideally situated. I love the outdoors and staying in a home with liveable outdoor space is the ultimate in appeal. I also love to walk or bike everywhere and this home is situated so that is is away from the crowds, and accessible to whatever adventure I may want.

Hi, we are a professional couple with a young dog, Kiwi. We enjoy the outdoors and travel.
Kelowna is an amazing city. There is such a diversity of outdoor activities and fun culture to be enjoyed. We moved here 4 years ago to get out to the hustle, bustle and rain of Vancouver. The sunshine in the summer and snow in the winter are a welcome change.
We are empty nesters and enjoy the gardening opportunities that this valley offers. We are both employed full time and are starting to ease towards retirement.
We enjoy reading, theatre and sports.

Why they chose this property

This home is in a unique part of Kelowna. It is accessible to all the good things that the city has to offer.

There is a heritage apple tree in the front garden and cheery trees and grape vines in the back. There is a large garden and it is a quiet and friendly neighbourhood.

The house was build with solid wood in 1958 and the structural strength of the materials is solid. We both were actively involved in the renovation because we both enjoy working with our hands and having the satisfaction of see the change.

Dogs are welcome, along with responsible dog owners - walking dogs in the laneway not the garden. Family friendly or good for a couple who want some romance.
