The block has some homelessness and drug use problems. I would not recommend it for a family with young children. You'll likely see open drug use. Having said that, most people love it, due to the proximity to everything. The neighborhood is safe as long as you stay vigilant. Families live here and there is a public school a block away. I provide a map of streets to avoid.

This is a great place to stay. Modern apartment with all ammenities. Location is within walking distance to the harbour. I would stay here again.

Great centrally located apartment in Vancouver

The apartment matched the description perfectly. It is a well appointed unit and the bed is so comfortable! It is within easy walking distance to Gas Town, shops, restaurants and the waterfront. I gave the neighborhood 4 stars because this area has quite a bit of homelessness and drug users. Having said that, I NEVER felt threatened by anyone. I just want to be honest. I will definitely stay there again.
