Disappointed Thoroughly
First, everything wasn't terrible. Check in was smooth. Our bags and groceries were taken from the car and brought up to the room. We rented a car for one night so when they took the car to valet without verbal confirmation, we knew it would just be a night's charge.
The property itself is well maintained by a hard working cleaning staff. The views and pools and beach perks are great.
And then... dealing with CS Global before, during, and I'm sure after our trip caused this to be a miserable experience.
After check-in, I noticed there was mold in the bedroom around the vent. We then had a dryer issue, then the wifi stopped working, and there was hair everywhere. I notified the property of this and was happy when the internet issue was resolved fairly shortly after the report. Well, that's all that was done for five days. We had 4 nights of 10 left at this point.
I received an email stating the issues would be addressed. On the 11th, a staff person knocked on our door as we were leaving to chexknthe internet and dryer. Those two issues were resolved (thanks to duck tape for the dryer door). He left and so did we. He never stepped foot in the apartment. The next day we were out eating when we get a text say we are being charged $500 for smoking in the room. This blew out minds bc we don't smoke and weren't even there.
After inquiring, we discovered the staff person who came the day before said they strongly smelled marijuana in our apartment. UNTRUE. The entire floor smelled that day. It was not us. This issue is still pending as they are still insisting we pay.
Last night, the final night, the internet went out again and was.nevernfixed even though I reported it 16 before checkout.
I called to request a late check out to accommodate us and was told no.
I filed a formal complaint.
