We Enjoyed Our Vacation
The yurts are clean and spacious. The kitchen area is well stocked with cookware, dishware, etc. The cooling system adequately cooled, even in the heat of the day. The bedrooms were spacious with plently of hooks for towels, clothing and other things. The main beds were very comfortable. There is space for a big crown in every yurt, if you have a big group and need to gather together in the morning or evening. The setting is gorgeous, overlooking the lake and it's a short distance to Rendevouz Beach and very close to town (LaBeaus, for instance, for ice cream lovers). The gathering place for large groups is located at the top a hill and is quite rustic (it's not like a downtown park) but our large group had a ball doing all kinds of things up there for two nights in a row. Eveyone was happy. We did notice one detail that requires attention: The shared bathroom space had two barn style doors, one for each bedroom. Unfortunately, the locks did not operate well so it required some friendly cooperation with the other bedroom. In one of the one yurts, the bathroom doors would slide open on their own and we had to lodge something against the door to keep it closed. (This was a very minor inconvience.)
