Located in the heart of Whistler Creekside, The Lake Placid Lodge is known for its convenient gondola access and fabulous complex amenities. Considered Ski-in/Ski-Out and situated directly across the street from the Creekside Gondola, guests will enjoy being able to easily walk to skiing each morning and finishing their day with a rip down Whistler’s iconic Dave Murray Downhill. Whistler’s Creekside Village has grown a lot over the past decade so in addition to the famous Dusty’s Bar and Grill, Creekside also features a large grocery store, liquor store and many other shops and restaurants, all within easy walk of the Lake Placid Lodge.

Complex amenities at the Lodge include free underground parking, an outdoor pool, a large outdoor hot tub and a covered BBQ area with multiple grills for guest use.

Lake Placid Lodge #215 was professionally renovated in 2022 and has a very clean and modern feel throughout. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook your own meals and the open plan living/dining area has a new gas fireplace, mounted flatscreen television and a balcony which looks out towards Whistler Mountain. The completely redone bathroom contains a rain shower and there is a new high-end, washer and dryer in closet directly out front. The bedroom features a King-sized bed, a second mounted flatscreen television and a large closet. There is also a sofabed in the living area for sleeping additional people.

Nothing was overlooked during the remodeling of this bright condominium. From exceptional stone and tile work, new appliances and kitchenware, recessed lighting and much more.

Unit 215 / Lake Placid Lodgr

Check-in in the village when the unit is located in Creekside, this is not accommodating when we arrived by shuttle. There’s no plastic glasses to bring near the hot tub. And it miss a baking tray to use in the oven. Except the above, the unit is perfect.

We love Whistler in the summer!

This property is older but very well maintained and our particular suite was newly renovated. Lake Placid is a wonderful place to stay if you like riding your bike and walking. There is also nearby paddle boarding. The unit itself could be improved by adding 2 fans (not great air circulation in summertime). It also needs some kitchen items like a blender, sheet tray and bakeware for the oven. It isn’t the most quiet unit, with windows open (a must in the summertime) the Sea to Sky highway traffic is very noticeable and almost constant. All that said, we would stay here again!
