This breathtaking one-of-a-kind Bayfront Home sits on South Main Street, in the very heart of our Little Island by the Sea, and faces the most incredible Sunsets and Bay Views you may ever see. If you want it ALL, this is the place for you. A Shore Joy oozes that quintessential Chincoteague Charm you love, and has the Modern Amenities you want and need - plus a Private Pool! It also happens to be close to the Chincoteague Carnival Grounds and in the path of the Pony Parade that happens every year during our Annual Pony Swim, the last week of July each year!

There are so many nooks and crannies in this fabulous home - so much space to spend time together without ever feeling crowded. You’ll love relaxing in the Sunroom, which lines the front of the house, and sipping your morning coffee as you watch Herons, Egrets, and Eagles fish for their morning meal. Or stroll out to one of the TWO Docks that belong to A Shore Joy and take in the Views close up - you may even see Dolphin during the warmer months! Bring your Kayaks and easily launch from the Dock, and just imagine the fun the kids will have fishing and crabbing - right in your own “backyard”! Feel free to bring your shallow draft boat, as well!

Once you pass through the Sunroom, you’ll find yourself in the first of TWO Living Areas A Shore Joy has. You’ll love kicking back and enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen TV after a fun-filled day exploring Assateague National Seashore. The 1st Living Area is dressed in Colors of Sand Dunes and Sea Glass, has Flat Screen TV, and a cozy Electric Fireplace - a great place to curl up with a good book. Strolling through the French Doors that lead to the rest of this awesome home, you can’t help but fall in love with the Rustic Hardwood Floors - it’s like taking a stroll down a historic boardwalk. I wouldn’t change anything about them - they’re perfection.

The Hall opens to the huge Kitchen, Dining, and 2nd Living Area, which lines the back of the home. The 2nd Living Area has oversized, comfy Leather Furniture to sink into, another Flat Screen TV, and a Brick Fireplace - perfect for those chilly off-season stays.

Mealtime will be a bay breeze in the spectacular Chef’s Kitchen, with all the comforts of home - and then some! With Stainless Chef Grade Appliances, Granite Countertops, and tons of space, you may never even want to go to a Restaurant! But if you do, there are many great choices close to home. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach, and enjoy family meals in the comfort of Central AC, or dine Al-Fresco at one of several Dining Tables on the back Deck! Speaking of the back Deck - just wow….You’ll find multiple levels of Decks with not only Dining Areas, but areas to relax and kick back around the Fire Pit, and even a Pizza Oven you’re welcome to use! Happy Hour may have to start early at the fabulous Bar, or wander up a few stairs to the refreshing Outdoor Private Pool. And the Outdoor Shower is perfect for rinsing off before taking a dip in that pool.

Also on the 1st Floor is Bedroom 1, with a comfy Queen Bed and charming French Doors, a Full Bath with Walk-in Shower, and a Laundry Room with Full Size Washer and Dryer. Wandering upstairs, you’ll find 3 more Bedrooms, with a unique layout. Bedroom 2 has a Twin Bunkbed plus a Queen Bed and sleeps 3. You must go through Bedroom 2 to access Bedroom 3, but it’s so worth it. Bedroom 3 is dressed in sunny yellows and crisp whites, and has a Queen Bed, plus a Private Balcony for stargazing. Bedroom 4 is right next door and has a luxurious King Bed and spectacular Bay Views. A Jack and Jill Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo is shared by all upstairs Bedrooms.

There is literally nothing about A Shore Joy that is “ordinary”. You’ll be treated to a veritable water lover’s wonderland with 2 Docks and great Water Access just across Main Street, a Backyard so well-equipped you may never want to leave, and a home so warm and inviting it beckons you to sit a spell and sip some sweet tea.
