Beach paradise

Short and easy walk to the beach, extremely close to dining and shopping, and a perfect little getaway. Loved the lagoon out back - saw a TON of turtles, birds, and an alligator!

Very clean, great location. So quiet and relaxing. The pool was never busy and the beach wasn’t crowded. Such a lush and tranquil environment. Super close to everything. The condo supplied everything you would need to enjoy your stay.

Wonderful stay

Spent the first week of June at this delightfully renovated condo. Everything you could want is provided including games, books and full array of beach gear. Location was perfect from closeness to the beach, Coligny Plaza and great bike trails. Quiet peaceful Villa. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the resident alligator and turtles swimming in the pond. Thanks to the owner for providing this lovely escape.

This is the perfect little getaway where you feel like you are home. We absolutely loved staying here. They supply you with chairs, wagons, umbrellas, etc for the beach! The place was clean and comfortable. We also got to see the local alligator right out off the balcony! Totally recommend checking them out. It’s worth it. Great communication with the owners and handyman is always available!

The condo was located so close to the beach. They had every beach item you could think of in the closet. It was nice to have an option of two different pools. The condo was clean. We could walk everywhere we needed to go.

Great stay on HHI!

We have rented a number of different condos in the S Forest beach area, and this was our favorite. It was the perfect size for our small family (parents + 1 toddler). The two full baths upstairs are a plus. The property was exactly as listed. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to prepare simple meals. We loved having access to the grill on the back deck. The property at Sea Scapes is beautifully maintained and we enjoyed using the community pool. Easy walk or bike to the beach, Low Country playground, and lots of restaurant options. Would definitely rent here again!

Best villa ever!

We would like to rate this villa 10 out of 5 stars. It was only a 5-minute walk to the beach. We were far away from Coligny Plaza and its busyness, but close enough to walk/bike there. This particular unit was absolutely perfect for our family. The kids had their own room/bathroom. The owners kept books, puzzles, movies, and games for any age to enjoy. The kitchen appliances were so new that they still had the protective plastic on them. Our kids really enjoyed seeing the turtles and resident alligator in the water underneath our deck. We attempted to swim in the pools of the complex, but they were too cold in late March. There were also plenty of beach toys, beach chairs, and a wagon to haul them with.

Great location but there were so many stains

The condo was cute and cooled well. The carpet leading up the stairs and in the bedrooms looked worn and was stained like Hobbits had stayed there. The comforters had large stains on them. The back sliding door latch was damaged, making it difficult to open, but someone who stopped by for an unrelated repair fixed it.

Our fourth year at 3251

This is our fourth year at 3251 Seascape. It is a bright unit with floor to ceiling windows in the living room and master bedroom looking out to the lagoon. We were happy when our favorite gator returned for a second year. It is a very quiet location and close to the beach and Coligny Circle. It has plenty of room and all the amenities we need. This is our fourth year here and our 12th on HHI. We hope for many more. Flip and Matt are available for any problems. You can’t go wrong!

Has Potential

Good location easy to get to beach and all appliances and AC worked well. Unit has beach cart and some beach equipment too. Priced competitively. The unit needs more attention to cleanliness (i.e. small sand piles between every spindle in stairs banister) and refresh paint, some stains on furniture. Balconey not too inviting for it slightly tilts into water. Nice if some TLC given to unit. In the interim we will explore other options.

Relaxing stay

The condo was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked. It even had spices, tin foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags. It had a blender that we used daily to make frozen drinks. The mattress in the master bedroom was firm, but my husband and I slept well every night. The two full-size mattresses in the guest bedroom were very comfortable. Both bedrooms had extra blankets that were soft and cozy along with extra pillows. The condo has lots of games and a good selection of popular books. We enjoyed the deck that sits over a lagoon that has lots of turtles and a water fountain. We had our coffee on the deck every morning and had drinks in the evening on it. There are two pools that are just a short walk away from the condo and the beach is a 7 or 8 minute leisurely walk. The cabana bathrooms are a huge plus for this condo. They are clean, and they are at the beginning of the boardwalk that leads to the beach. This condo isn't fancy but it was clean. The carpet is stained and needs to be replaced. The drapes also need to be replaced. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms have been nicely remodeled. Overall the condo is cute and comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

Quiet retreat

My family had a great time at this condo. This condo is light and cheerful.It was very clean and well stocked from beach chairs and umbrellas to spices, plastic wrap, tin foil, sandwich bags, extra cozy blankets and pillows. The condo had lots of games and a good selection of popular books. Both bedrooms are cute and comfortable. The master bedroom’s mattress is very firm, but I slept like a baby our entire stay. The guest bedroom’s 2 mattresses felt very comfortable and my 2 young adult family members reported that they slept very well in their room also. The 2 bathrooms have been nicely renovated. The setting of this condo is very beautiful. The building sits in a lagoon that is surrounded by palm trees. The deck hangs over the lagoon and there are lots of turtles. We even saw a small alligator. The lagoon also has a water fountain , between that and the sounds of the birds and the beautiful surroundings we were able to leave the stress of our daily lives at home. The deck also has a very nice grill that we used one evening. There are 2 pools close to this condo for guests to use and the beach is a 7 or 8 minute walk. The cabana bathrooms are very clean and are located at the beginning of the boardwalk that leads to the beach. This is a huge perk of staying here. The only negative thing that I can say about this condo is that the carpet is stained and needs replacing. This condo is clean, cute, cheery, and peaceful and I hope to rent it next year.

Great location

This condo was nice, but tight quarters in the kitchen and bathroom. It is a great location, just a short walk across the street from the beach. It was a plus that beach chairs are available, but there are no beach towels.... so be sure to pack some. I was a bit surprised that there was nothing provided in the kitchen to start us off ( coffee, sugar, a couple of bottles of water). Maybe that isn't so unusual, but it is the first time I have ever stayed at a VRBO that the host did not provide more than salt and pepper shakers and a bag of popcorn. Didn't feel like the condo was very clean. Lots of dust on the louvered doors and very dirty windows. The biggest complaint was the keypad entry. It was a bear to open, and because check in was not until 5:00 and the office closed at 5:00 we did not hear back from management until morning. After about an hour of trying to open the door...... we finally were able to figure it out. Not a great way to start out the trip. It looks as though the door was warped a bit. Again, an OK place for the length of time spent in the condo, but would probably not rent it again.

Excellent location and great beach rental

I really enjoyed staying at Sea scape villas. It is about a 5 to 10 min walk directly across the street to the beach. It is around beach marker 54 and 54A I think. The "first floor" is really just an alcove and the beach items closet. You go up a few steps to the "second floor" with a kitchen and a living room. Everything is decorated very nicely and on theme. They had a good book selection and game selection (including Harry Potter Trivia!!) Third floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bed was firm but comfortable. Overall, everything was super nice and convenient. We only had 3 adults staying there and personally I would have felt super cramped if we had 6 adults. 3 or 4 adults and a kid would probably be the max people I would feel comfortable in. The kitchen was usable but small so really only 1, Maybe 2 people could use it at the same time. Great location and close to Colginy Plaza so all good places to eat and shop. We used Shore Beach Rentals for an umbrella and chairs already set up on the beach and they were able to place them really close to our beach access. The beach buggy provided by the rental was great and super useful! It has regular sized wheels so a little difficult to pull on the soft sand. Fridge was a good size and fit plenty of drinks and food.

Great Stay!

We specifically booked with Lowcountry rentals because of a recent stay in Sea Pines. That HH property was the cleanest (shout out to whoever you use for housekeeping) and nicest we had stayed. Also, the rep from Lowcountry (Paul at the time), was so responsive and wonderful. This property did not disappoint. While slightly older feeling than the previous rental, it was really clean and comfortable and had updated bathrooms. The condo was well stocked with board games, a clean kitchen, linens, and even enough beach toys and equipment for a family of 5. It even ended up having a little lunch cooler for the beach - which we had forgotten. So that was so nice! The beach is a solid 6-10 minute walk with kids. Use the map that they give you to get there. It was no problem for us and felt convenient - but keep that in mind if you have older people staying with you. We rented bikes from Island Life (36 S Forest) and were able to pick them up just walking around the corner. We dined mostly in Coligny as we were able to bike there quickly (within 10 min) (even with our young kids) and had a great time doing so, never having to use our car! We ended every night biking to Frozen Moo for ice cream. Also, quickly bike-able to the new shipwreck playground at Coligny at well. We would absolutely stay here again. We felt it was worth the price and loved the location to the beach, bikes, and restaurants. For a young family, it was perfect.

Family Vacation

Our family stayed here during our fall break. We enjoyed the lagoon in the mornings. Overall a very nice, clean property. We were able to enjoy the local beaches as well. The kids enjoyed the board games provided by the condo. There are some things at the property that could be updated but everything was clean. Would recommend this property to family and friends

Perfect for family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Seascape. The condo was cute and strategically located to the beach and Coligny plaza. The condo sleeps a family of 6 with small children comfortably. Although it is not beachside, it is a short walk across the street. The only issue is that neither the property or beach entrance is well marked so it is difficult to find for a first stay. The parking is a challenge at this specific condo because it is located on the back lot with a narrow one way entrance and exit. We could not turn our SUV around in this space so we parked in a different lot on the property. very quaint and convenient! We hope to visit again soon.
