The Space:
This is a non smoking house however there is a lovely sheltered courtyard that looks through the house to the view. There is also a great space on the top level where you can catch up on work and emails, or sit and read ... and an amazing balcony to see the night sky from. After living here for many years and knowing how nice it is to come home to a warm house - we have put in central heating.

Guest Access:
We will provide access procedure after a confirmed booking is in place.

The Neighborhood:
You will hear and see tuis and bellbirds every day. The tuis come flying up from the lake, up the side of the house, check out the kowhais then up to the neighbours flax.

Sunshine Bay, Fernhill is a residential area adjacent to Queenstowns centre. It is less than a five minute drive to town and perfectly located for your Queenstown getaway! There is a NZ award winning local fish & chip shop, corner grocery convenience store and "Lokal" Bar and restaurant.

Getting Around:
The local bus just down the road, taxis take about 5 minutes to town. Two ways to walk to town - one via the lakefront, or through the woods (track)one via Fernhill road - around an hour but great (downhill there)
