Stay at this luxury cottage located in the beautiful, and highly coveted forested community of Southcott Pines. Centrally located to downtown Grand Bend and only a 5 minute walk to a deeded, private beach with amazing sunsets!

This is a very special post and beam, timber frame home with a cathedral ceiling, stone fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, screened in back porch, and oversized bedrooms with scenic views. There is a space for everyone with a video game area for children, a chess nook, reading rooms and a Great room perfect for playing board games. This home offers the best of "Southern Living" with a spacious front porch complete with cozy seating to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife. At the end of a long day, why not wind down in the indoor sauna or outdoor hot tub while overlooking a scenic forest! We also provide a cozy gas fire-pit on the outdoor deck surrounded by six Muskoka chairs. Note: a wood burning pit is not provided due to the risk of forest fires.

The upper level features a master bedroom loft with privacy screens. Two additional bedrooms are housed on the upper level and one double bed bedroom resides on the main floor.

This spacious home is a perfect getaway for a multiple-family vacation, a special anniversary or birthday celebration, or a family reunion!

If you are thinking of a winter getaway, Grand Bend offers a variety of winter activities including: cross-country skiing at the Pinery, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling or just taking in the pubs and restaurants that stay open all year long!

In the summer enjoy the marina, relaxing on the beach, parasailing, water skiing, fine dining, wine tasting, theatre, outdoor concerts, golf, the Grand Bend Raceway, shopping or the weekly farmers' market!

Weekend away

We were a group of 10 girls and this cottage was fantastic. The drive in was beautiful, the cottage itself gave such a wow factor and was so clean. All the beds were comfy, amenities were well thought out. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

Beautiful Cottage Great Location

Great family vacation!

We stayed here for 4 nights with my family and my sister's and brother's family. The cottage is gorgeous. We had everything we needed. The owners are very responsive. It is a perfect getaway for families.

Great for ladies getaway

Stayed here with a group of girlfriends. Very cozy, clean and spacious. Enjoyed the hot tub and propane fire pit. Nice wooded backyard and short walk to the beach. Great for a relaxing getaway.

Fall Getaway

As a group of friends checking out the local wineries this was a wonderful spot! The house was so clean as well as the amenities, a quick walk down to enjoy the lake views and incredibly comfy beds! Highly recommend.

Great home

Hockey Mom’s Get Away Reunion

The property was amazing! Spacious with lots of open concept space and privacy with separate family room and multiple bedrooms. The back deck with gas fire pit and hot tub gave extra fun options for our group! Walking through the area was easy with lots of beautiful cottages to admire … and of course the beach! Diane was great - very responsive … we had a great time!!

Amazing family gathering place!

We loved our stay here as an extended, multi-generational family. Everything is exactly as pictured, and the house has everything we needed for a fun beach week. I particularly appreciated the hot tub. It's a quiet, residential neighbourhood; we had zero issues with noise and everyone we encountered was friendly. We stayed the week before elementary schools got out for summer so we mostly had the private community beach all to ourselves! Would love to make this an annual trip; thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Absolutely stunning home

This cottage was on the most beautiful piece of property in Grand Bend! You could hear the lake while sitting on the back deck. The home was beautifully maintained with the most stunning furniture! We enjoyed our evening in the clean hot tub and sat around the fire table for hours laughing. I honestly can not wait to go back!

Luxury Timber Home not really a cottage

The description of the property is accurate. It is definitely a luxury VRBO but more than a cottage. The amenities were great. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. My friends and I had a great time just chilling out on the back deck (which is huge). Beds and couches were very comfortable and the linens provided were hotel quality. I highly recommend this destination for you stay.

Great Winter Weekend

Our family planned the weekend to celebrate our retirement.The property is beautiful, the added snow made it so cozy and warm. There’s tons of charm in and out and is very spacious. Really enjoyed the 2 fireplaces, the hot tube and open kitchen. Diane was excellent and was very prompt with any queries and support. We enjoyed the Pinery as it had tobogan hills and a chalet to keep you warm. Great weekend!!

Rustic charm

Overall it was a nice home within easy walking distance to lake. Luxury is surely a perspective and the IKEA furniture was new but luxurious would be a stretch. The lighting was dim for a family of readers. Basement shower could use a door remodel The hot tub worked well and was wonderful for those cool evenings. The decking could use some new flooring in places.

A Luxurious Timber Cabin Retreat in Grand Bend

I recently stayed in this luxury timber cabin in Grand Bend and it surpassed all my expectations. The cabin's craftsmanship and rustic charm blended perfectly with the beautiful surroundings. Inside, the spacious living area was tastefully furnished, and the fully-equipped kitchen and luxurious bedrooms added to the overall comfort. The highlight was the outdoor deck with ample space and a relaxing hot tub. The location was ideal, offering tranquility while being close to town. The attentive hospitality provided by the management team enhanced the experience. This timber cabin is the perfect retreat for a memorable stay in Grand Bend.

Birthday weekend getaway

We stayed at Diane's property this past weekend as a group of 8 for my husband's 40th birthday. The property is beautiful and felt fairly secluded with the trees on the property. The cottage was beautiful with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed the back yard space which included outdoor fire gas fire pit, hot tub and BBQ. I would highly recommend staying at Diane's place. Communication was amazing throughout the entire process, she accomodated an early check in and we were greated with a nice card, chocolates and a bottle of wine. It was the perfect place for friends to celebrate. Thank you Diane!

Incredible find

An incredible luxury find in the area. Beautifully kept home and grounds with a stunning large deck outside for summer nights. perfectly turnkey- just bring yourself and your groceries for a great summer getaway. Diane is an incredible host who is quick to communicate and respond and take care of her guests and all of their needs. the kitchen is wonderful for cooking and entertaining, the sauna and hot tub are major plusses, and the house is close to one of the most beautiful private beaches in the area- warm water, fine sand, beautiful views, and no large crowds. i could not recommend Diane and her cottage more. a real luxury find in the area for folks who want more than the basic cabin getaway- but the whole beautiful and well curated experience! will definitely return in the future for more trips.
