Amberlea Homestead & Cottage is a peaceful escape with 30 acres of tranquil cleared farmland, Offering 2 separate living spaces adjacent to each other, Amberlea Homestead and Cottage offers a unique accommodation venue for 2 families or groups of friends up to 8 people to holiday together whilst offering the privacy of separate living areas and amenities.
The elevated property boasts cleared rolling paddocks and a large dam.
There are expansive distant views of the surrounding country side and mountain ranges and stunning sunset viewing vantage points. There is an abundance of native animals and birds including kangaroos, wombats and many species of parrots.
Enjoy all the activities Amberlea farm offers including your own private golf driving range, games room and garden art studio. Enjoy fresh eggs every day from the chickens and herbs and berries from the garden.
The property is located just 10 minutes from historic Braidwood and just outside the quaint little village of Mongarlowe. It is also only 45 minutes from Batemans Bay on NSW's beautiful South Coast making a day trip to the beach within easy reach.

Amberlea was absolute perfection. Everything was provided and we had a wonderful stay. The homestead and Cottage were spacious with beautiful decor. I would've love to have bought it, it was exactly my style. The peace and quiet with only the sounds of the birds was just what we needed. The only thing we didn't like was our length of stay, we should've stayed longer. Tim and Judy were excellent with communication and made sure everything was top notch. This is an 11 out of 10 property.

Fabulous Weekend Away at Amberlea

We had a wonderful time at Amberlea. The homestead and cottage are both beautifully appointed and well equipped. We enjoyed the space and peace and quiet of the property while been only a 10 minute drive into Braidwood. Been able to bring our dog was a bonus and allowed for a stress free weekend away. We would recommend this property to everyone.

Stunning property in picturesque location

From the moment you drive into the property you are impressed by the stunning setting and perfectly maintained gardens and yards and felt relaxed right away!The house is so lovely and homely - and even though we stayed during summer (in January), the nights were still cooler, so we took the opportunity to light the outdoor fire and enjoy a glass of wine and the watch the cockatoos, kookaburras, parrots, and galahs feeding by the fence line. Loved the fresh farm eggs you can collect from the onsite chickens. Really enjoyed cooking in the big open kitchen and was nice to have herbs, spices, and condiments in the cupboard available also. Communication from Tim (owner) was very detailed prior to our arrival and he was lovely to deal with.We had such a lovely, peaceful stay. Thank you!

Amazing property. The homestead and cottage were spacious and so well equipped. Everything you could possibly need. It was all more than we expected from fresh eggs from the chickens, stacks of firewood, underfloor heating in the homestead so cosy and warm. Our granddaughters 5 and 8 loved feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs and walking the property. Tim was excellent with communication and generous in offering early check in and late checkout.
