The Space:
This condo is located in the beautiful Aldea Thai beachfront condo complex in the heart of Playa del Carmen, situated steps from one of the best beach spots in town--in front of Mamitas Beach Club, which makes for an ideal escape to Mexico's Caribbean! Decorated in a Bali-Thai style with a Caribbean flair, this condo has all the modern amenities plus the comfort you dream of for your vacation. There’s a large gorgeous pool with a swim-up bar, sun beds and loungers, a gym, beautiful grounds, and all you could want for your tropical beach escape to Playa.
The main spaces of the 2nd-floor condo:
- An OPEN LIVING SPACE for optimal interaction when spending time with your vacation crew!
- The LIVING ROOM is designed for comfort with a large sofa and a TV with cable, for downtime at home and direct access through the sliding glass doors to the PRIVATE BALCONY.
- A DINING AREA with a table to seat 6 comfortably for a relaxing sit-down meal at home. Plus, a BREAKFAST BAR at the kitchen counter with 3 bar stools.
- A fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances and everything you need to prepare meals at home. This is great if you’re watching your wallet or on a special diet.
- 2 comfortably furnished BEDROOMS and 2 FULL BATHROOMS to accommodate 7 guests as such:
BEDROOM 1: King bed, ensuite bathroom & access to the patio
BEDROOM 2: 2 Double beds & ensuite bathroom
COMMON AREA: Sofa
Plus tons to see and do in PDC; everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, stand-up paddle boarding, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private yacht tours and fishing charters, golfing, day trips to Tulum, Cancun, or take a ferry ride to the island of Cozumel!
Guest Access:
During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the condo. You can also enjoy complex amenities like the resort-style pool with a swim-up bar, sun loungers, gym, and common areas.
The Neighborhood:
This place is a vacationer’s heaven. Even a longer-term stay is perfect because you really don’t need a car since you can walk just about anywhere. It’s only two blocks to 5th Avenue and a block the other way to the beach! You’ll even find a Walmart supercenter, Starbucks, pharmacies, convenience stores, and more, all within walking distance!
Getting Around:
The condo is about 55 km | 34 mi from the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s a free unassigned parking, subject to availability. Just ask the guard where to park.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that the complex has cameras in outdoor spaces pointing at the corridors, pools, entrance, front desk and parking. These belong to the complex and not the owners, and are set up for safety reasons.

- There may be potential for normal city noise as the property is located downtown.
- There is an elevator; however, guests may need to climb stairs to access certain areas of the property.
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- Guests might be required to present an official ID at check-in or during the stay.
- A security deposit of 500 USD will be required, and will be refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- No smoking of any kind inside the condo! Drug use and illegal activity on the premises are also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $334 penalty.
- Electricity is included at 20 kW/day for short-term rentals, but it is not included for stays over 14 nights. For longer stays, the consumption is calculated based on the difference between the meter reading at check-in and check-out and charged at $7 MXN/kW used.
- There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning services depend on the length of the stay.
- Guests are responsible for damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
- There is free parking, subject to availability.
- Pets are not allowed.
ALDEA THAI COMPLEX RULES:
- The guest bracelet and/or key will cost $12 USD if they are not returned at checkout.
- Visits are subject to the unit's maximum capacity. Visitors are authorized from 10 AM - 7 PM and must register at reception.
- For the safety and security of all residents, anyone found without a bracelet in any area of the complex will be considered a trespasser and subject to penalties.
- ZERO TOLERANCE FOR NOISE AFTER 11 PM. A penalty of $223 USD applies (see below). Any noise complaints or damage to the condo, the following warnings will be given:
1st notice: The guest(s) infringing upon the regulations will be notified and/or the electricity of the unit will be suspended for 1-4 hours, according to security criteria.
2nd notice: A penalty of $223 USD (or its equivalent in national currency) and/or public security support will be requested.
- The consumption of drugs or narcotics is strictly prohibited in this country; any violation will be reported to the property authorities. No illegal activity is allowed on the premises.
- The use of grills on the terraces, balconies, or at the pool is prohibited.
- It’s forbidden to place garbage in common areas.
- It’s forbidden to hang clothes and/or towels on the balconies and/or terraces.
- It’s strictly forbidden to install or use machines or motors, loudspeaker equipment, or sound devices that interfere with electrical installations or that are noisy and annoying to others.
Interaction with Guests:
You must first check in at the front desk where you’ll present an ID and complete the registration process. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement stating their adherence to the rules and regulations of the complex and the property.
