Perfect for solo traveller
I was very pleased with this relatively new unit (1 bedroom condo) and how it was stocked with almost everything an overseas traveller needs. Not at all like other baches where the kitchen in particular holds what appears to be discarded owner’s gear. The unit is centrally located with a bus stop just around the corner and a major grocery store about 10 minutes walk away. (Strongly suggest that if you are planning to use the buses to buy a Snapper card to pay 1/3 the cash fare.) Building is secure as you need a fob to enter the main or back entrance. It is on ground floor with a patio door that I kept locked during my stay. The area was quiet as it was still Christmas break at nearby university and no game scheduled for Basin Reserve across the street. Be prepared though for some ambulance, police sirens as the city hospital is 15 minutes walk away. However it appears that sirens are not permitted between 11pm and 7am as I never heard any during this period and I am a light sleeper. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises.
