We offer quiet comfort in the middle of garden and trees nestled by many birds. Many options for exceptional hiking, fishing, canoeing around Madawaska Valley and Algonquin Park. Golf enthusiasts may enjoy 18 holes golf course nearby. Wi-fi and complimentary coffee/tea on arrival is available. Parking is free on the ground and EV charging is available for small additional daily charge. 1 queen size bed in bedroom and pull-out sofa in the separate space accommodates up to 3 people.

Great and quiet place in Old Killaloe

We stay in this wonderful place near Old Killaloe with my family. Maria was super nice and welcome us with very tasty muffins and fresh tomatoes directly from the garden. It was really easy to communicate with her. The lodge is completely independent but if you need something, you just cross to the main house where Maria stay. The place was clean, all furnished, fully equipped (tv, books, board games) and just renovated. The garden is really beautiful and we just take a walk with my kid to see flowers, frogs and the two cats Larry and Minnie. The room is on the 1st floor, and there is a couch where you can be one or two more persons (ideally kids). This place is so quiet and peaceful near Killaloe, the beautiful little city where beaver tails born. The sky is so clear to just lookout the stars. It's located just before Alguonquin Park and in the Madawaska Valley where you can find all kind of activities (in nature !): Lake, hiking, canoeing, etc. We had a great time here and will gladly return next time. Old Library Lodge was actually originally private library with thousands of book. and had reading room to enjoy it. Quiet and beautiful surrounding inspired us to create comfortable retreat spot that offers both the nature and the stories.

Our neighborhood is abundant with lakes, forests and wildlife but also offers convenience of nearby small town shopping and several restaurants within 15 minutes of driving. 18 holes golf course is also in proximity of 4 miles.

What makes this property unique

Old Library Lodge is ideal for anybody seeking serenity and connection with nature while pursuing outdoor activities in their own time. It is comfortable and beautifully connected to it's surroundings.
