Summary:
Welcome to Tiny Ubuntu! The ideal tiny house is located in the quiet neighbourhoods of Baffle Creek, Gladstone known for its great fishing, crabbing, and turquoise beach: Rules Beach. We'd love to have you stay on our 5 acres of land, where the tiny house overlooks a lovely paddock and dam for you to explore.
At night, sit around the outdoor fire pit while resting under the stars, and during the day, take a long walk on the beach, which is only a 5-minute drive away.
The Space:
Tiny Ubuntu is set in a lovely garden and dam, complete with a BBQ gazebo for cooking meals, a tailor-made art workshop, a campfire night to relax under the stars, and access to the herb garden. Nearby Drift and Wood Restaurant, Agnes Water Beach, Deepwater National Park, and just an hour drive from Bundaberg.
A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Given the rural setting, children are welcome, but must be kept under careful adult supervision due to the unfenced dam. We ask that guests not leave their children unattended.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its paddocks, except for the sheds and aquaponic gardens, which require prior arrangement with the land host. If you're interested, we also provide visitor access to the Art Gallery, and pre-orders listed below by prior arrangement with the host 24 hrs before arrival.

- Art workshops are from$50 per person for 2 hours
- Aquaponics & garden tours are $15 and refreshments for 1 hour

- Lady Elliott Island is ideal for LARC rides and offshore fishing adventures that fishing enthusiasts would enjoy.
- Agnes Water Beach is located in a coastal town that offers cafes, taverns, boutiques shopping, and a nearby surf beach in the area.
- Deepwater National Park is a coastal park that offers great tracks, picnic spots, 4WD, and a glimpse of Aussie wildlife in the region.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1 hour south drive to Bundaberg
- 40 minutes north drive to Agnes Water
- 1hour 30 mins north drive to Gladstone
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please note that we have a few vehicles passing by the day
- Telstra has weak signal. Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees and Spark have no signal
- We also offer GAS BBQ and picnic packs for you to cook under our lovely gazebo
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Given the rural setting, children must be kept under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION due to the unfenced dam
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
-Fire ban status, as our shire has had major bushfires here and the van will continue during summer at this stage.
