We drove almost 7 hours to stay at Mont Tremblant. Garage entry code does not work. Panel flashes. Couldn’t get inside without walking around the building or climbing a very narrow spiral fire escape with luggage.
We headed to bed around 11:30 to get a good night sleep before a full day of skiing the next day. My son called me to his room upstairs to let me know his bed was full of hair. Checked both beds and both had dark and curly hairs were all through the bedding, mascara stained pillow case and several long black hairs. Rather than apologize or offer to make it right; the owner told me the sheets were clean and that he had washed them himself. We stripped the beds at midnight to wash and dry. The washer, we discovered, doesn’t work. Rotates a few times and stops with the start button blinking. After 2 hours, and restarting it a dozen times, we had soaking wet bedding. The owner acknowledged the washer may be the issue and would look into it. No offer to arrange for fresh sheets, no offer to make it right. We were given access to a storage closet with extra sheets but these had the same issue. Our only option was to sleep on hairy sheets. My other son found several hairs inside of a plastic cup in the cupboard. Lack of any apology for the inconvenience that kept us up past 2am and sacrificed half of a very expensive ski day, nor any offer to make it right was inhospitable. Expected far more at that price.
