About this property

Step into Florida living in this three bedroom, two bathroom home with a private pool. Manatee Retreat is tastefully decorated and newly remodeled with everything you need to make your vacation one to remember. Bring your flip flops and swim suits and come experience all that cozy West Bradenton and the surrounding area have to offer.

You will enter into the family room with ample seating and a large flat screen TV to enjoy family time while watching your favorite movie or sports game.
Right off the family room is the primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This spacious room sleeps two in a King sized bed.

The kitchen is well equipped with all stainless steel appliances and the essentials to make your meals. The dining area offers a beautiful 6 seat dining table and a 2 seat bistro table for your guests to eat together. Challenge another to a game of foosball or a board game of your choice. In the garage is a ping pong table for more added fun.

Right off the dining area beyond the sliding glass doors, you exit to the relaxing patio and pool area. You can enjoy the larger heated pool for an additional fee. The outdoor dining table allows for you to share a meal on a beautiful evening or a snack while swimming. You can cook your meal on the gas grill or lounge on the outdoor sofa as you dive into your favorite book.

Back in the house, the second bedroom sleeps 2 in a Queen sized bed and the third room sleeps 4 with a Full sized bunk bed with twin trundle. On the other side of the hall is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

With such a great house, you might decide to stay right there for your entire vacation! However, when you're ready to explore, you'll find northwest Bradenton and nearby Anna Maria Island to are filled with plenty of fun things to do and see.

For recreation opportunities, you couldn't be in a better spot! This home is perfectly situated for bike rides and walks that take you through quiet residential streets. Want to bring or rent kayaks? You can launch them at the public ramp at the end of 59th Street. A few blocks in the other direction you can discover the GT Bray Recreation Center, which is considered Manatee County's recreational hub. Complete with a dog park, fitness center, outdoor pool, baseball fields, racquetball courts, tennis courts, you name it!

As if all this wasn't enough, a stay at this wonderful home also gives you easy access to the world-famous beaches of Anna Maria Island, the DeSoto National Memorial, Robinson Preserve, downtown Bradenton, shops, restaurants, and, a little further afield, the myriad cultural, dining, and shopping opportunities to be found in Sarasota.

Manatee Retreat sleeps a maximum of 8 people in one king, one queen, full bunk bed and twin trundle.

A NOTE ABOUT POOL HEAT: If you book online, your reservation will automatically populate with a pool heat charge for one week. If your reservation is for a longer period, someone on our staff will adjust the pool heat rate to reflect the longer stay. We recommend pool heat at this property, regardless of the time of year, as pools near shady trees stay cooler, even in the summer.

A Wonderful Stay

The property was great - enough for the five of us to spread out, but also offered a central gathering space. We used the foosball, table tennis and corn hole more than expected. The property management was prompt with addressing some miscellaneous requests such as ignitor for grill and replacing a missing ping-pong paddle. Ample beach towels, but you may want to consider bringing your own beach chairs - a beach wagon is provided if you are able to transport it. The pool was dirty upon arrival, but the pool guy came out the next morning to clean. Some algae remained, but began clearing up toward the end of the week. The pool was looking pretty good (and was quite warm) when we checked out. I would certainly stay here again. Location gives a head start to the beach traffic.

Adult Spring Break Getaway

Just OK. House was clean, kitchen was adequately stocked. OK appliances. Pool was fun, but again… just ok. Cobwebs and dirty pool & water even though the pool guy came out first day. The master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable. Bedroom #2 bed is even worse. Adult couple resorted to sleeping in bunk beds in bedroom #3 after first night. New mattresses all around would go a LONG way for this property. Bathroom #2 light didn’t work. Outdoor gas fire pit didn’t work. Washer and Dryer in unit is VERY convenient, however attention is needed for dryer - the way it’s vented, you need to run loads through twice to dry. If you’re looking for an affordable, conveniently located property (easy drive to the beaches!), that has what you need, this one is…OK. We had a wonderful vacation near AMI and made amazing memories, but would most likely not stay here again.

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and at 85 degrees we used it just about every day. The property manager was prompt in answering any questions. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great week!

Lots of options

Baseball and beaches were the reasons for our visit. This place was perfect for our launching pad. Communication was good, the place was super clean, and I would recommend this place for an off beach location that is close to the beach and lots of good food.

Vacation with the family

This house was very well designed and furnished. My wife and I traveled with 3 kids aged 10 to 18. They all had plenty of space, and there was plenty to keep them busy while we were in the house, from foosball tournaments, to corn hole. The bedrooms were seperated with the kids on 1 side of the house and the master on the other, which allowed for a nice escape from them. The pool was a little dirty when we arrived, but 1 phone call to the booking agency and they had somebody there that day. It would be nice if the pool and patio lights worked, but with the inside lights on and the blinds raised, it was still plenty light enough for the kids to swim in the evenings. The pillow top bed in the master was a bit too fluffy, for mine and the wife's liking, but thats just our preference. If ever down near Anna Marie again we will definitely be looking to rent this house again.
