February trip, upon arrival driveway was a sheet of ice, ( no rock salt to be found) could not get cable to work, living room fire place did not work, few table chairs very wobbly( did not sit on them) table chair cushions many had stains on them. There was clothing on outside bench near hot tub frozen ( from previous renters) notified the contact person and talked with the owners said would send someone out that Saturday no one came. The biggest issue was that the property manager or owners control the heat( temperature of the house)Which should be in the renter information. Other then that nice house

over priced

We recently stated this VRBO property and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. While the location was great and offered beautiful views, the overall experience was lacking. First, the cleanliness was not up to standard upon arrival. We found that the kitchen microwave was dirty and one did not work. There were cob webs in all rooms and the air filters haven’t been changed in months. It could’ve used a more thorough cleaning. Additionally, some of the linens had stains, which was quite off putting. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The pillows old and stained which made it difficult to have a restful sleep.The amenities advertise were not as described. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected, and the hot tub was not functioning during our stay despite being major reason, we chose this property. Communication with the property manager was helpful but his hands were tied due to the owners decisions and we felt our concerns were not addressed. There were safety concerns such as holes in the deck and no functioning smoke detectors. All the space itself was spacious and had potential the lack of attention to detail and maintenance really distracted from our overall experience. We were looking forward to our relax and getaway, but this property fell short of our expectations. I hope the owners can take some time to improve the cleanliness and maintenance for future guests.

Misrepresentations and underwhelming

1. Hot tub water was cold 3/4 days and dirty 2. Crumbs on floor, silverware needed to be washed before use, ceiling fan covered in dust 3. Please do not believe the bed sizes! Advertised as 1 king and 4 queeens, FALSE, 1 King, 1 queen, and 3 full beds! Beyond uncomfortable for couples. 4. Heat was stuck at 65 degrees for several hours. We had to keep our coats on indoors 5. I tried to reach out to owner to try and come up with solution before writing this review. He never gave me the respect of responding. 6.This is my first bad review i have ever wrote.

Pocono Weekend Away

We decided to spend a weekend away at the Pocono's and we had 15 people in our party. The house was ready on time and while we did have a few minor issues the owner was quick to get back with us to resolve our issues quickly. We had a great time white water rafting and this house was centrally located with all the activities we had scheduled for us. The house had plenty of room for us and we would stay here again.

This was a beautiful place to stay with family and friends.

Beautiful place. Exactly as advertised but so much more! We all had a wonderful time with a lot of space but we all stayed in kitchen living area. Huge dining room table for family card games. We would definitely rent this place again!

Our first VRBO experience turned out great!

Our family had a great time at this property, large dining room table could seat 12. Large TV area clean kitchen area. Pool table with bar for evening fun, and a hot tub outside.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful and well laid out for a great relaxing weekend. The location was great too, secluded in the forest and close to any activities you choose. We had a group of 10 and no issues with places to sleep, the 3 full bathrooms also made it really nice. The big wrap around deck and second floor balcony made it great for relaxing outside and enjoying everyones company. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Nice weekend in Albrightsville

House was clean and very open and comfortable. Easy access to Jack Frost and Big Boulder. Enjoyed our stay. Communication with property manager was not two-way.

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful property, it’s perfect for a big family. It has everything you need to have a perfect vacation, there are many activities to do around the area. Nobody wanted leave the day of check out. We are going to be back for sure.

Long weekend

We have been using Vrbo for many years to find vacation homes. This experience was by far our worst ever. In fact I probably will attempt to avoid Vrbo in the future. The host/manager(Mills)did not answer our questions in a timely manor - sometimes not at all. When we arrived at the home - we could not find one of the rooms listed on the site. We finally found a locked door - opened it and used it throughout our stay. We needed the beds for our family that was coming(some came from as far away as Florida). The site claims the house sleeps 16 and there were 12 of us. Very in pleased, Esther

House is beautiful. Location peaceful. Only complaint is the mattresses... all of them are hard and noisy, not comfortable at all. We cushioned the mattresses with comforters and it was slightly better.

Above Average Rental, Below Average Owner

This rental is above average, it's clean, spacious, kitchen well equiped, and would recommend. However, the owner is new and should've referred us to the welcome packet but told us conflicting stories about community passes. The Homeowners Association only gives 8 passes. We didn't have enough for our group. But most important, when we checked in we found a whole room of trash under the deck with a broken door. We immediately text a pic to the owner and the next day a woman referred to as the Property Manager took a couple bags with her, then came back the next day and took the rest. But it wasn't fast enough because a mother bear and two cubs showed up! We were told by the neighbors that it wasn't the first time that there had been trash all over the backyard the week before! Not sure how long this trash was left there, on the calendar there was no renters for 10 days prior to our checkin. Also, the owner is very responsive when he wants to be but when he doesn't he will ignore your messages. I emailed him when I got home and told him that we enjoyed our time in his rental and that we made sure it was as clean when we left as when we arrived and stripped the beds and washed the towels and folded them. I asked when we can expect our deposit back. He said on the 15th day. Since he was new I explained to him that we didn't have to wait 15 days that he could ask manually to refund it and that we just rented a house in October and checked out on the 14th and received the deposit back in 2 days on the 16th and provided an email confirming this. He didn't respond and I did not receive our deposit back until the 17th day after checkout. This is unacceptable! Bottomline the rental is true to the pictures, it's fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, it was 14 of us, 9 adults and 5 kids. However, we couldn't leave the kids out after dark because of the bears!

Great location for a fun extended family weekend!

We needed a location to hold our extended family for a birthday celebration. This was perfect! We enjoyed the large deck, the hot tub, the grill, the ample seating, and the community amenities, including the lake. Recommend!

Amazing log home!

Loved the clean comfy beds, pool table and everything. This log home was amazing and well exceeded our expectations, has a great woody smell on the inside, plenty of windows and natural light. We were group of 16 and were comfortably accommodated. Liked the fact that this property owner provided clean towels, blankets, pillows covers. Haven't seen anyone in Poconos offering that ! Kitchen is well equipped too. The exciting part was its just 3-4 miles to Big Boulder Ski area, Big Boulder trails and the historic glacier boulder lake. There is lake with beach near the property which has playground for kids. We are planning a trip again this summer to enjoy the lake beach and boating !

Awesome log home

Beautiful and clean property. Décor is great and looks custom made for log home. Owner is friendly and hospitable. We were group of 20 and went for skiing at Big Boulder skiing which is 3 miles away. Lot of trails around and beautiful lake beach in the community with kids playground. Loved it and will come back again in summer for boating !

We had awesome weekend getaway at this property. Beautifully done log home, décor is great, even lamps look custom made. Clean and well kept. Owner is friendly and nice. Skiing and trails 3 miles away, beautiful lake in community. Will come back in summer for lake beach and boating !

Beautiful home -Had wonderful stay

Its beautiful property, clean and looks newly built. The owner's collection of furniture, lamps, decor suits the log home beautifully. We had incredible weekend getaway at this property with the Big Boulder Ski Area and awesome restaurants few miles away. There is also a beautiful serene lake at walking distance from log cabin. Owner is very friendly and receptive. Thank you for the wonderful weekend stay !

Awesome experience

Great log home with attention to detail. Even minute details like lamps are customized and look amazing. There was enough space for everyone in the group to enjoy and have fun. Basement with nice bar and pool table was enjoyed by both adults and kids. Bed and linens were of great quality. The house is really clean and perfect with lot of amenities...The location is just awesome near lake,ski resort...for snow lovers..just loved the interiors of the house ...very very high quality...We had a very awesome stay here and plan to come here every year - Overall the best house we have stayed so far in the Poconos area!
