About this property

Remember the Alamo | Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Deck!

Located in a peaceful setting on the north side of Ruidoso Remember the Alamo is the perfect location for a restful getaway with friends and family. Even your dog is welcome and has a fenced yard in which to play. Best of all, you have a wonderful view and a hot tub on your deck where you can relax and restore muscles tired from hiking, golfing, or skiing in the Sierra Mountains.

When you arrive at Remember the Alamo you have level access to the home from the back and stairs at the front entrance. You’ll love the shade trees by your deck and the table and chairs inviting you to sit a spell and enjoy the mountain breeze. You also have a gas grill on your deck so you can cook up some burgers, steaks, or that fish you caught in the Ruidoso River.

Remember the Alamo is a welcoming retreat indeed. You have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and everything you need to comfortably accommodate six including central air conditioning.

Walk into your Remember the Alamo living room where you’ll find lots of comfortable seating around the wood-burning fireplace. This cozy room will be a gathering place for conversation, games, and watching the TV with cable and a DVD player. In all, you have four TVs to watch within Remember the Alamo. You also have free Internet within your vacation home. This makes it easy to check out websites for area attractions, send photos, and play electronic games. You may be far from the city, but you have all the modern conveniences of home when you stay at Remember the Alamo.

Mountain air tends to build hearty appetites. Of course, you can dine in any of the many restaurants you’ll find in downtown Ruidoso, but if you want to cook for your group at Remember the Alamo we have you covered. Your kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve your group in style. All you add are your good recipes and ingredients you pick up at the nearby store.

You can dine in your dining room with seating around the table for six. You’ll love the great view of the mountain vista through your windows and sliding doors. You can also take your food out onto the deck to enjoy in the pine-scented air. It really is true that everything tastes better in the great outdoors.

At the end of the day, you’ll find yourself more than ready for a good night’s sleep. Slip off to your primary bedroom where you’ll find a king-sized bed and beautiful wooded views flowing in through your many large windows. If you’re not quite ready to fall asleep, grab a book and read a few chapters while you sit in one of the two chairs awaiting you in this cozy room or watch a little TV on your private flat-screen.

When morning comes you have your own private primary bath with shower/tub combination and large vanity with dual sinks and mirror. What a pleasure it is to get ready for your day in this pleasant bathroom.

You also have your own washer and dryer within Remember the Alamo. This makes it so easy to keep your family in clean clothes without bringing your entire wardrobe.

The second and third bedrooms within Remember the Alamo each feature a queen-sized bed and window that overlook the beautiful scenery all around your vacation home. Both rooms have nightstands with lamps for late-night reading.

The two guest rooms share a bathroom that is outfitted with a shower/tub combination and large vanity with lots of room to spread out toiletries.
Remember the Alamo offers a vacation destination you and your family will remember fondly for years to come. Book your days in this mountain paradise by reserving your preferred dates today! Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads.

Property needs lots of work. Really disappointed for the money.
LONG LIST OF NEEDED REPAIRS was left on the kitchen table. Cleaning crew will probably throw it out without regard. We intend to contact owner with the feedback. Again, we expect MUCH better for the money.

Convenient and home
Place was very convenient to everything. Clean and welcoming. Easy check in and check out. Backyard was not pet friendly for our small puppy, as the fence was down on one side. Would be fine for a larger dog. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and stay. Highly recommended!
