Host Provided Content Policy
Summary
On this page, hosts can find our rules surrounding the content that we allow to be uploaded to our platform. That includes any text, image, video, or content created by generative AI provided by hosts or their agents.
What’s not allowed
We do not permit content that:
- Redirects guests in the booking flow to another website, a social media account, an email address, or a phone number, to book outside of our platform.
- Contains hate speech or symbols.
- Contains violent or graphic content that promotes or glorifies violence.
- Contains sexually explicit content, or content referencing sexual acts or services.
- Attempts to impersonate another person, account, or entity, including representatives of Bookabach.
- Contains unapproved URLs, links, hashtags, or social media handles.
- Uses quoted material from websites, books, magazines, newspapers, or other sources.
- Uses generative AI to mislead, misrepresent, or misconstrue any aspect of the rental space to drive booking.
- Uses the platform for commercial activities unrelated to booking travel.
- Exceeds a reasonable frequency of communication that may be interpreted as spam or harassment.
What’s allowed
All host content and communication must:
- Be related to offering, managing, and supporting travel.
- Provide travellers with accurate listing information, including listing type.
- Be kept up to date and honestly reflect any changes to the home.
- Comply with privacy laws and respect every member of our community’s reasonable expectation of privacy.
- Have all required consents from third parties where such content includes images or information about a third party (including the consent of a parent or legal guardian in the case of images or information about a child under 18 years of age).
- Only offer promotions, discounts, or fee information by loading them in the appropriate structured fields in Bookabach Dashboard or the relevant connectivity software.
- Comply with relevant intellectual property laws, such as trademark usage, copyright, etc. Note: We reserve the right to update our moderation criteria related to intellectual property and may not provide hosts with advance notice of moderation changes.
Enforcement
We may delete or reject any content that we determine is in violation of this policy, the Bookabach Host Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, or other Marketplace Policies.
Where there is a conflict between preset fields and content submitted by a host, we may validate the accuracy of that content and take action to reconcile or remove conflicting or duplicated content.
