Premier Host Policy

Premier Host is a free, invite-only program that recognises owners and managers who consistently deliver great traveller experiences at the individual listing level. As soon as a listing meets the eligibility criteria, it’s automatically added to the program.

Eligibility

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

To achieve Premier Host status, a listing must meet the following requirements. These are measured over the past 365 days each quarter.

  • An average review rating of 4.6 or higher (shown to hosts in the Bookabach dashboard)
  • A booking acceptance rate of 99% or higher
  • A host-initiated cancellation rate of 0%
  • Have 5 or more Bookabach reviews
  • Have at least 5 bookings or 60 booked nights

Premier Host benefits

The benefits of being a Premier Host apply to each listing in your account that qualifies for Premier Host status. Premier Host status includes the following benefits:

  • Premier Host filter
  • Automatic increase in search position
  • Priority phone support

Hosts: Track your progress

The Premier Host scorecard, located on the Performance page in your dashboard, tracks your progress towards achieving Premier Host status at the listing level. You can also download a report from the scorecard to learn more about your overall performance. Use the report’s filter and sort options to identify areas for improvement.

Quarterly assessments

We review Premier Host listings every quarter. This ensures that we feature listings that continually provide exceptional guest experiences. Quarterly assessments take place on February 1, May 1, 1 August, and November 1.

We review performance for the past 365 days and remove listings that no longer qualify. Hosts are automatically added back into the program as soon as the listing meets the eligibility criteria again.
