Service Animals Policy

Summary

At Bookabach, we believe guests with service animals should always be accepted in a property, even if the host doesn’t normally allow pets. In many places, this is also the law.

What’s allowed

Service animals are trained to support people with disabilities. As working animals, not pets, they’re essential companions for many guests. That means the host’s pet rules do not apply, and guests cannot be charged extra fees or deposits for bringing them.

By contrast, emotional support animals of all kinds do not qualify as service animals. For this type of animal, the host’s pet rules and fees apply.
