The Nelson Lakes and Golden Bay are both an easy day trip and Nelsons Market, held every Saturday, is well worth a visit for New Zealand made arts and crafts and fresh local produce.
The challenging Tasman Golf Club, 1km past the gate, welcomes visitors. Not a golfer..... its worth the walk or a drive, for the stunning views over Tasman Bay and the bar might be open!
With safe swimming, boating, and fishing, plus award winning local vineyards and cafes, Kina Beach really is the perfect holiday location.
Atatu Beach House is only a 25minute drive from Nelson airport.
The large open plan living area offers SEA VIEWS from every window.
Included is Sky TV, DVD Player, CD Stereo, Radio and Ipod Dock for your entertainment.
On the top floor you will find the Master Bedroom / Ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
The Mezzanine Bedroom is also on this level, with 2 King Single beds which can convert into a Super King and also 2 x std single trundler beds.
On the lower level is the Queen Bedroom, Bathroom with bath / shower and a separate toilet.
We have plenty of outdoor furniture including 2 x beach chairs. Also 2 x Adult Bikes with helmets and an assortment of tennis rackets - Mapua has public tennis courts just 10 minutes drive away.
Commercially laundered linen is available at a small extra charge.

The house was superb and fitted our needs well as we had two couples and our elderly father who all needed our own bedrooms. The location worked in well with meeting up with cousins, one of whom lived in Ruby Bay five minutes up the road, for our planned family get-together. We ate breakfast overlooking the stunning coastline and it was great to be able to turn the heatpump on, on our return to the house each day.

Atatu was fantastic for our family of 5. Not only is the location great (including the perfect street for kids to learn bike riding) but the house layout is perfect and it was well prepared prior to our arrival. Comfy beds too! Thanks Lou and Johnny!
