Comfortable self contained cottage accommodation on our small farm near Mangawhai in Northland, New Zealand.
Taranutty eco cottage offers quality, comfortable accommodation in a one bedroom annex of our light-earth house nestled in forty acres of secluded countryside just minutes from beautiful Mangawhai beaches and surrounding attractions.
Our location, just over one hour’s drive north of Auckland and 15 minutes from Kaiwaka on SH1 makes this the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a base for a longer stay. The cottage is best suited to couples but it is possible to accommodate a baby or small infant. You are also welcome to bring your well behaved pets.
Taranutty farm is situated approximately five kilometers from Mangawhai village which boasts a range of shops as well as a chocolate factory, gallery and village market. A couple of kilometers further on is Mangawhai Heads, one of the premier resorts in Northland with beautiful beaches, estuary, walkways and a superb golf course.

A peaceful quiet place in lovely surroundings. About 10-15minute drive from the nearest beaches but not an issue really. Sweet surroundings and the lovely fruit trees were such a treat.
