Hilltop Views overlooking Lake Taupo

This house has fabulous lake and mountain views and is just one block from the lake. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the house is ideal for couples, family or friends holidaying together. Private and sheltered backyard area with gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. Wonderful sunny conservatory where guests can watch the action on the lake whatever the weather.
While we have "modernised" this classic "bach" by installing new appliances and beds etc we have gone to a great deal of effort to maintain the atmosphere of a classic NZ bach . Hilltop Views is not all sparkling tile and chrome -we hope we have created an environment ( house and garden) where our guests can really relax and perhaps even remember holidays past !!
For the safety of your young ones (or pets) the backyard is fully fenced. Easy walking distance to local shops /restaurants and a very short drive to Taupo township
Our rates include bed linen and towels and as long as you leave the property clean and tidy there are no additional cleaning fees. ( see special conditions) If your stay is for 4 nights or more, ask if our multi night discount might apply. We will consider one night bookings depending upon other enquiries. We are happy to offer early check ins and late check outs at no additional cost if our other bookings permit. Off street parking for 3 vehicles.
In addition to everything Taupo region has to offer,Taupos central location makes this an ideal home to stay for a few days and make day trips to Rotorua ( one hour), Tongariro National Park ( one hour) Napier one and a half hours and Waitomo Caves ( one and a half hours)
A great log fire and radiators ensure a cosy warm house even on winter nights.

As Taupo is the "events capital" of NZ sometimes our peak rates will apply to weekends not normally recognised as "holiday" dates.

Service level

Linen: Linen supplied and included with rental.

Cleaning: Cleaning can be provided. Additional charge of $50.00 per stay applies.

In order to keep our charges as low as possible we do not have a cumpolsary cleaning fee. We ask that you leave the property clean and tidy ( ie dishes done and put away, surfaces clean and house vacuumed). We do not expect guests to clean showers and toilets or do the laundry.
If for any reason you are not able or do not want to do this basic clean and tidy we will arrange this for you for a fee of $50.00.
