So glad we found this place! The bay is a lot quieter than the rest of Coro in summer... But so close to town. Pipitiwai House is lovely with so much history- a garden full of fruit, veg and herbs and an wood fire oven. This place is quite magical and full of character and charm! The large deck that we had meals at every night, over looking the ocean! We will definately be back. Thank you
A really lovely relaxing stay at a spacious homestead with character and a beautiful outlook. Great outdoor areas and safe beach for the kids to play on. Mussel Kitchen 5 mins drive down the road for coffee (and good food). Outdoor dining is well catered for with two table/seating options but there is no indoor dining table if the weather turns. Also make sure you bring EVERYTHING you need food-wise in the kitchen. We did appreciate the fresh herbs in the garden though.Thank you.
Loved the house and the location. The garden was great with fresh veg and herbs, the kitchen had every possible implement you could want and the other rooms were sunny and airy. There was an olde world feel with the slightly crooked floors and eclectic furniture so don't expect a shiny modern house where everything is brand new, but that added to its' appeal. Good times, only drawback was the mozzies at night, nets would be good!
