This was our second time here. We feel so priviliged to stay. It is a truly wonderful place and we could spend forever sitting on the deck gazing at the ocean. The sunrises are absolutely stunning. We swam in the river this time and that was great too. We definitely intend coming back. A wonderful, wonderful place!
Perfect for a getaway. We had breakfast and dinner on the balcony each day. Lovely looking out over the ocean. Quiet location not far from CastlePoint but more remote and relaxing. The geology was interesting driving out. We enjoyed playing board games and checked out the local rocky and sandy beaches.
Owners are always friendly and accommodating. The bach is spacious and charming, and location is priceless!
The house was lovely holds the heat of the day well. no complaints of the house at all.
A little hidden gem. So much to do and we only feel like we scratched the surface. Such an amazing spot. We were grateful that we stayed four nights but could have stayed longer. The beaches were amazing and we spent two hours swimming at the closest swimming beach and had it all to ourselves. Highlight of our North Island road trip. Property was an iconic kiwi Bach with everything you really need and lovely views of the ocean. Our kids enjoyed playing cricket on the front lawn. Fantastic place
