Lindsay and Sandra were fabulous . So genuine wonderful Kiwi hospitality.
This was such a find! So much nicer than a more-expensive motel, the bush-enveloping driveway up to the house and cottage already suggesting privacy and seclusion-right in Taradale... Sandra was waiting for my daughter and me to take us through the cottage. I was impressed by the standard of fit-out, everything we needed was there, quality and immaculate. We appreciated the lemon water in the fridge and the slices of cake :) - I later noticed the lemon tree next to our drive. We were off to a pre-booked trip to the gannets at Cape Kidnappers, so Sandra showed all we needed to know and left us, we didn't see or hear "mein hosts" til we checked out. Such a quiet, descrete hideaway you have! This would definitely be a place to return to, even just to sample the spa bath :) Thank you both so much and I wish you much success. S and C
Citrus cottage is large and secluded. The gardens were so pretty when we stayed and the name really does describe it well. Lindsay and Sandra were friendly but also gave us space. The bikes were welcomed and two wineries are within an easy ride. Everything was provided and more, space everywhere. The only thing I would add is some comfortable outdoor seating but perhaps this appears in the summer.
