Wonderful place with the added opportunity to learn about herbs and their medicinal attributes Highly recommend straying here
We left after one hour. The property owner had to drive our car up his steep, dry unsealed road to the studio and there was no way I could envisage being able to do that myself so we agreed that we would not leave the premises during our stay. That was OK with us since we were familiar with the area and had come prepared with DVD’s music, books etc, for our stay. We were also looking forward to wandering, with our dog, the ‘miles of paths’ on the property of the herb farm, that they advertise. However, we were told that the paths were not usable and unsafe, so walking out on the farm was not viable. In addition their new tv, although it had Netflix, had no DVD facility and there was no music player. There was also no place which was not deck for the dog to be or ‘go’. All in all it felt too much like a prison and so we left.
Such a beautiful, peaceful setting, Alasdair made us feel very welcome. The property was well appointed with everything you would want for a comfortable stay.
