Absolutely loved our stay! Felt relaxed as soon as we drove down the drive. Kids loved it - from flounder fishing, kayak fishing to the upstairs loft. Not having mains power and using gas/generator was not a big deal, and added to the charm of the place. Can't wait to get back here

The property is set in a beautiful location with so much to offer. Everything is kept clean and all is well maintained. Our children were kept busy all the time with so many options to keep them entertained - kayaking, fishing, exploring and so on.

  • A classic Kiwi bach, located next to the beach

A classic Kiwi bach, located next to the beach. Peaceful and calming. The property comprises one bach which could sleep 7 though would feel overcrowded on wet days. There is also a sleep-out which could accommodate another 2, and another small cabin with own shower/toilet and basic cooking facilities. Fridge and cooking is by gas and bbq, and the generator is required for power in the evening.

How is it possible to give this a better rating. Great location, quiet, convenient and a perfect escape from the busy city. Most importantly, in a group, it is extremely affordable and would recommend to anyone.

The property is magical - right over the water, very peaceful and much larger in person. We were a 2 person couple at the property and nobody else was in the nearby houses. The property does run on a generator but we didn't find that to be an inconvenience. The kitchen is very well stocked. Overall I would love to spend all of my weekends there!
