Bach or holiday home | Lake Rotoiti | #3162
Nestled away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to town.
The deck has an outdoor table with a sun umbrella and BBQ all ready for summer entertaining or a perfect place to relax and enjoy the expansive north facing lake views.
Absolute lake edge with a beautiful sandy beach where the kids can play and kayak all day under your watchful eye.
There's a couple of kayaks and an assortment of life Jackets for most ages in case you forget to bring your own.
With amazing lake views from nearly every window you can choose your spot - laze on the window seat in the dining room; the perfect spot for reading or snoozing, muse over a jigsaw puzzle at the kauri writing desk, or sit down to a feast at the big dining table.
A short boat ride to the hot springs; a great spot for water skiing; fishing, sailing, or just lounging around. Safe swimming for children from the sandy beach in front of the house.
In the winter time snuggle up warm and cosy sipping mulled wine in front of the wood burner listening to music and reading a book.
Access to this amazing hideaway is via a (private) metal forestry road (you don't have to have a 4WD!).
If you have a boat there is ample off-road parking (a 4WD is recommended due to steep driveway access). Most people are happy to park their boat trailers on the road above the bach or leave the trailer down at the boat ramp.
There is NO JETTY but a boat mooring out the front of the bach is available - please advise at the time of booking if the mooring is required.
Whilst the house is on the lake edge, there is no driveway access to the lake, and there is a set of stairs from the parking area to the back door of the bach.
Launching a boat is easy at the boat ramp in the bay (about 150m down the road from the house).
About 20 minutes drive into the heart of Rotorua just in case you want to tear yourselves away from this magical haven!
Please leave the bach and BBQ cleaned and tidy for the next family!

INCREDIBLE property. Location is unbeatable. We have the most amazing stay. Kayaking to the hot pools is a highlight of the trip as well as having hells gate so close (more hot pools). Remote location but so close to town and east coast for beaches. We'll be back! Thanks Penny.
The Bach is petfectly located right on the edge of the lake. We were staying during the winter and the place was cosy with a fireplace and plenty of firewood to burn. The property is remote and secluded, it’s a perfect getaway with amazing views of the lake. We kayaked around to the hot pools that can only be reached by boat, which was a brilliant way to warm up and soak in the mineral waters. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it as a relaxing holiday in an idyllic place.
