A great getaway - this is a fantastic spot with so much to do! The mountain wasn't open so we spent all weekend here, the kids had an awesome time pottering around down by the river, riding their bikes and making the most of the table tennis etc. when the rain set in. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and clean and only 30 minutes form Ohakune. We hope to be back again in the future!

  • Lovely and very comfortable

Lovely and very comfortable. Fire was lit for us so we arrived to a warm home. Only suggestion was better signage as its well off the beaten track (which is part of the charm).

  • We had a fantastic time

We had a fantastic time. The cottage was a little luxury set in a piece of paradise that was private, sheltered and warm (it felt like summer). The cute cottage is modern and was extremely clean, warm and cozy with everything you needed. Comfy beds with fresh linen. It had a neat games room where our family enjoyed table tennis; we also played volley ball on the lawn and the kids had fun kayaking around the pool area down at the river. We thoroughly recommend it and hope to come back soon.
