The Rangitoto Forest restoration are neighbors with a brilliant native bird breeding program especial the Kokako (dawn chorus) now being caught and sent to other places. The Pureora state forest is behind us. Travel to the top of Mt Rangitoto at 976m asl just because you can. Bring your friends, family, even the horses, bikes just check out of life and get away and enjoy whats in your backyard. Clay bird shooting etc can all be arrange. We will try to put together packages to suit everybodies needs.
Special conditions: Dogs by permission (outside only) with currant dosing and vac certs as this is a working sheep & beef farm. Horses. @ $15.00 per horse per day. Experienced riders may ride some trails by themselves, others guide only. Guide charges are $15. per hour. Transport for bikes can be arranged Ample truck and camper van accommodation and turning. All other activities can be quoted for on request. Children - this is a large station children can be at high risk if not supervised at all times.
