Lyttelton is unique in that it offers all the wonderful attributes of a harbour port (colourful, eclectic shops, restaurants and markets), an outstanding natural environment for hiking, cycling, sailing and exploring (several beaches, Quail Island, Diamond Harbour, Port Hills Gondola and many beautiful walks) AS WELL as being a stones throw from the very centre of Christchurch City and all on offer there. A wonderful combination of city meets rural so everyone's idea of a holiday can be catered for! Great public bus and ferry services to get you where you want to go.

Dublin Street Manor adds a little extra magic to your stay - a genuinely historic villa situated within a few minutes walk of nationally award winning restaurants, music venues and cheeky pubs to sip a few local brews and listen to the sounds of this bustling working port. The home has everything you need to walk in, drop your bags and enjoy including super snugly beds with down duvets and lovely linen, an original cast iron claw foot bath, wood burning fire and sash windows. A fully equipped kitchen (so you don't have to bring your own spices!), WIFI and Sky allows you to self cater and have a night in when exhausted from exploring or wander out and experience the novelty of the Wunderbar or Civil and Naval pubs knowing you only have a short wander home.

Take a tour of the harbour to see the magical Hector Dolphins, Quail Island (where Antarctic expeditions sailed from after quarantine including Scott and Shackleton's famous voyages).

Lyttelton is the fusion of tradition and change where artists, healers, sailors and industry come together in a community focused way - none more so than the famous Saturday market and bizarre on the Main Street...a feast for the senses. You'll have a great time here. It might be heard to leave! No hidden extras or add ons in the pricing.
