The Apartment: 89 Carroll St is within walking distance of Dunedin City Centre (10 mins), lots to see and do. The place is spacious, well furnished, quiet, handy location. It's great for couples, business travelers, international students, families or groups.

We love Dunedin for its old-world architecture, and the creative vibe produced by so many local artists and crafts people. Plenty of galleries here for the size of the place! Its a gem set in a fantastic green and blue landscape of hills and ocean!

The Space: The apartment is over two floors. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. The third bedroom is downstairs, with the main bathroom and laundry (including washing machine and dryer), and open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Entry is on the ground floor, with a front veranda and an entertainment area with table and chairs.

The Neighbourhood: Generally plenty of street parking, with diagonal parking outside the apartment. Lots of cafes (and hotels with restaurants) on the route towards the city, many open at 7.00am for breakfast. There are a number of art galleries this end of town, plus the Dunedin Public Art Gallery is quite close, on The Octagon. Although the cafes and city centre are quite close, if you don't wish to walk all the way it is usually possible to drive a bit closer and park.

There are two nearby supermarkets in town (slightly too far to walk) and another this end of town on Anderson's Bay Road.

Of course there are plenty of other eating places in town.

The regional outlet for tourist information ''I-site'' can be found on The Octagon next to the Town Hall, where you can book trips, or find information. There are, for example, regular scenic boat trips up the harbour, or scenic train trips to Taieri Gorge (takes a couple of hours) from Dunedin Railway Station.
