We loved our stay here over Christmas - the isolation was just lovely. The house is very tidy and welcoming - suggestions to further renters would be that if like me you are cooking a Christmas ham the oven is a benchtop half size one so don't bring too big a piece of meat (mine just fit). Also there is no freezer but a chilly bin with a bag of ice stored in the bottom of the fridge keeps larger items perfectly frozen for a few days. A day trip to Waverley Cave Beach (at low tide) is great fun.

  • Absolutely beautiful location, lovely place to stay, great views

Absolutely beautiful location, lovely place to stay, great views. The only comment I would make is that the outdoor bath was not available during our stay (Jan '17) due to water restrictions. Perfectly understandable and this is not a negative comment, but rather a suggestion that the info on when the bath is or is not available would be handy on the Book-a-Bach Mt Hiwi website.
