A lovely quiet apartment in the middle of the town

You have to park your car outside the town walls so we were very pleased that the apartment was within 150 metres of our park opposite the salt ponds. The apartment comes with a parking sign that you put in the car and allows free parking in any of the parks outside the walls. The front of the apartment building is a small bar but the apartment was very quiet and we heard nothing of the street scene (we did have a lovely back apartment with our own patio). There was one flight of stairs to carry our bags up, with no lift, but once in this was no problem. The room was lovely with plenty of space, a good bed and a large patio out the back with a table and chairs. Ston is a small town and we were right in the middle with plenty of choice for drinks and dinner (be aware that the Konoba Sorgo restaurant "upsells" and cost $US100 for two; we asked for a side of vegetables and they delivered a vegetarian platter costing the same as a main!). We recommend the Barovic in one of the smaller streets at about half the price of the Konoba and we enjoyed the food more. Ston is a great centre for the islands and the wall is a great walk. We recommend the apartment and would go there again.
