There is only one thing that this house needs to make it a great stay, and that is a good clean of everything. Everything.
Bedding, sheets and towels are fine. Carpets OK. However, absolutely everything else needs a really good scrub. Some appliances are so dirty you actually can't use them. You can hardly see through the windows. The bathrooms need a good scrub.
Please note that I could never be described as a clean freak, so for me to comment, it has to be bad. We were all very surprised at the various dirty things we kept encountering.
It's a real shame, as otherwise the house is fabulous, with comfy beds and plenty of space.
