Paradise on the Wild West Coast

Our whānau felt the warmth, good vibes that came from the whare. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, so happy we could come back and relax, plenty of space for everyone. loved every second, didn’t want to leave

Amazing place with an amazing view. The perfect rainy getaway. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and roaring hot outdoor bath. Most cars should be fine on the driveway in the dry, but might want something a bit bigger for those slopes when wet. Already can wait to go back.

I was impressed with this beautiful home, the views are immaculate and the style of the home is quite fun. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we are very grateful. Best of the opononi

Basically, most of the best impressions and experience around opoponi were about this property: view, boulders, beach, warmness. PS: if you don't find where to turn on the Owen: it is behind the microwave. And the wifi password is under the router. If you cannot find router: it is behind one of the chairs

Floyd Cottage

Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.
