Holiday rentals near Nambawan Market & Café

We enjoyed our stay despite the unusually bad weather with high winds blowing straight onto the beach for most of the stay. When we finally got to explore the coral it was amazing. We also saw turtles poking their heads up. The compendium could do with a bit of updating, we were especially confused by the map indicating that the Numbatu supermarket was close to the airport when it was the other side of port Vila! Perhaps because we couldn't swim because of the weather, we were sitting around a lot and it would have been really nice to have a couple of sun loungers to relax in. Francesca's became our second home, a lovely place.

This is a very nice property and Lydia is the ultimate hostess. The resort next door has consistantly good food should you not wish to get some bits from the market and look after yourself. The big downside for us was that the wind blew straight in on us all day for our eight day stay and were not able to use our lovely deck or the hammocks, loungers etc or enjoy the snorkelling that everyone says is so wonderful there. Of course nobody is to blame for unfortunate weather but it certainly took the shine off an otherwise delightful stay.

This home away from home is a lovely place to relax & gaze out at the sea view. The 3 bedrooms (each with a sea view) are in separate attached buildings so not suitable if you all want to sleep in the same house. The (6km from turnoff) road out to the property is gravel and very bumpy so best to hire a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get you in and out. Bring all your food with you for your stay. House has everything you need just like your own home. We enjoyed our stay and the owners are helpful with info.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments. The back 2 bedroom apartment was great for us, as we didn’t need to worry too much about the kids making noise early in the morning and waking other guests. Breakfast being served each morning at our outdoor patio table or by the pool overlooking the beach was a real bonus! The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great with direct beachfront access to a sandy calm beach, and only 100 metres from the beach bar which has a free fire show, circus and outdoor movie night. The room was cleaned sufficiently daily. There were however a lot of ants, but this is to be expected on a tropical island. The daily cocktail special changed each day and were the cheapest on the island. We hired their driver for two days to take us around the island, and he showed us all the best spots! Cheaper and easier than hiring a car! We definitely recommend for families and hope to stay again!
