Our stay at the villa was very enjoyable & relaxing. The host family was extremely welcoming, attentive & generous - we enjoyed some lovely homemade meals. The villa was well- serviced.
We enjoyed the large comfortable bed & found the villa, in general, well-appointed & comfortable - good air-conditionimg & appliances were much appreciated.
Our pool, in the lower villa, did not enjoy the privacy we expected as the villa above has a good view of it, but this wasn't really an issue.
We enjoyed the tranquility of the mountain setting & being 20 minutes from a supermarket & other facilities was fine. The proximity to Rethymno is good.
Villa Harkia would be a good choice for your holiday in Western Crete.
