Monica and Jean-Luc were amazing hosts, there if need, friendly and kindly. The gite was really fantadtic, superbly located for privacy, sublimely praceful,a home away from home.Very elegant in its decor, well equipped, and the pool a treat. Very handy to amenities in Sarlat and many wonderful.things to see historically and for those who enjoy gardens.Id have no hesitation in recommending the gite to anyone.Love to return!!

La Roque-Gageac is a great base from which to explore the area, with many sites and beautiful villages within an easy drive. The House of Gabarrier, was perfectly situated in the heart of village with lovely views of the river. We were surrounded by shops and restaurants, but still had privacy and at night it was quiet & peaceful. The house provided all that was listed, but any condiments for cooking, and laundry products, you need to bring with you. The little private courtyard has not been maintained, so it was different to the photo we had seen. All in all, we were comfortable and really enjoyed our stay at this property, in this beautiful village.
