Holiday rentals near Villa di Castello

We loved this apartment in Florence. We spent five nights here during our recent stay. The apartment is very private and quiet, a great respite from Florence's busy streets. It is also very authentic (being an original family residence) and has been tastefully renovated. Our host Giovannella took a personal approach to both our arrival and our departure, which was really nice and appreciated. Although located south of the Arno, it was a short walk into the old town. We actually enjoyed Oltrarno as it seemed a more authentic experience to us staying in a suburb and there were plenty of eating options as well. We would have no hesitation recommending this apartment for a stay in Florence.
