No window of the house facing the street and then the apartment is extremely quiet, and despite being on the first floor, the house is airy and bright. The apartment is located in Via del Campuccio, a characteristic street in the district of Santo Spirito, in the Oltrarno, ie the part of the historical center of Florence situated on the left bank of the Arno River, a unique area of Florence. A few steps you can easily find all the necessary shops, pharmacies and medical clinic, library, restaurants, bars, pubs and a few meters to the bus stop. Giovannella was a WONDERFUL host and the apartment was PERFECT! It is on the quiet side of the river and had easy access to many amazing cafes and restaurants and also close to the bus lines. The host, I don't want to misspell her name, I will just say Gia. She was awesome. She checked several days before on the time of our arrival, she checked on how many people so that beds and if necessary sofa bed would be ready. The house was exactly as she said, she doesn't some time with us and gave us a map on arrival that pointed out some of the many hilights of Firenze. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. The beds are comfortable, after a day of walking you want somewhere comfortable. There are alot of little Tratorierias to eat in the evenings. And you have to go to Campo Santo Espiritu, there is a farmers market and flea market everyday, this is only 5 minutes walking from house. The house is 20-30 min walking to Duomo or to the train station. Approx a 20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio.If I ever return to Firenze I will be staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The communication with the owner was great and she greeted us in person to show us around and answer any questions. The location was in easy walking distance to the major sights and felt very safe at night. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the flat is equipped with all the essentials. We were very comfortable and would be happy to be back again in the future.

More spacious than photos show. Quiet street, but only a few hundred metres from the centre. Plenty of eating places nearby.Very comfortable bed. No AC, but keeping the shutters closed during the day kept the temp down and nights were comfortable with the use of fans.

Excellent place to visit Florence

A very nice place to be, quiet and clean with everything for visiting Florence. The quarter is lively with a market square in walking distance and a lot of restaurants and some shops nearby, Giovannella is very sympathetic and helpful: we would like to come back!!!

Really great location in Florence! We were able to get away without using any sort of taxis/ubers while in Florence since this was so centrally located. Giovanella was a great host and had lots of good suggestions in the area for sights and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again in the future :)
