Holiday rentals near Driving Creek Railway

A lovely property close to Coromandel town - nicely appointed, however an oven and a teapot would have been useful.

We had a wonderful 3 day fam getaway. The perfect location. The location and view, wow! Nestled in a tropical oasis. We heard kiwi's calling at night! The comfy beds, gorgeous sheets, fluffy towels, beautiful Ashley and Co products, lovely plants everywhere and all the home away from home things you would need. Even spades for digging at Hot Water beach! Fab attention to detail.A short walk to the top of the hill down to Cathedral Cove and again down to Hahei beach. Jane was welcoming and awesome to deal with as a host.We will be back if you'll have us again! Thanks so much.

A beautiful spot in a beautiful house. Well appointed, private, quiet (except the noise of the surf..no complaints with that though) and it feels like a real getaway. Thanks for a great stay!

Pete's place is a lovely hideaway nestled in beautiful native bush. The house is cute and quirky with amazing views from the deck and bed! Per the description, there are a number of stairs from the car to the house through the bush, so pack lightly (it's not terrible, but you wouldn't want to carry the kitchen sink). There are a few lovely walks to do from the house including down to their local stony beach, and a wonderful sandy beach only 5-10 mins drive away. Bathroom facilities are in immaculate condition, kitchen is well kitted out, and Pete was a wonderful host. We stayed 2 nights, but could have easily stayed 4 or more to really settle in and explore the area.

When arriving at this property we were absolutely amazed at the view from the deck. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful spot. Fantastic access to the beach and only a short drive into coromandel town. We enjoyed many days at the beach kayaking and swimming and then returning to the deck to enjoy our evening. Only a short walk across the road and we were able to experience the sunset. The facilities and overall feel of this property are second to none. The pool table is also an added bonus too! Lisa was a fantastic host with prompt communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks Lisa for sharing your bach with us. The location is out of this world and was where I popped the question to my partner. I’d recommend this bookabach to anyone. Words simply can’t describe how awesome our holiday was! Loved this little gem. Close to the beach and other scenic drives. House was ideal for us both. Lovely shower and good outdoor setting, everything you need.

We love the quietness very relaxing. Near to the areas we wanted to visit.😊
