This provided a brilliant opportunity to experience the winterless north and the endless outdoor activities and stunning islands nearby. We enjoyed all the amenities for our summer holiday stay! Even though the weather wasn’t great the home was beautiful and allowed a relaxing stay regardless. Great views, a bookshelf library and quick drives to local activities was excellent. Thank you!

This has been our second stay at Motupipi and the hosts are the best. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place with us again. This was our fourth visit in as may years to this accomodation. We have stayed in the upstairs apartment twice and the downstairs apartment twice, depending on group size. On this occasion we had both as came away with another family. The accomodation is so beautifully dressed, and everything is always in full working order and absolutely spotless. We love the location as it is nice and quiet and a perfect spot to explore the Bay of Islands from.

A very unique style of accommodation, a very well restored 1875 chapel converted to a compact accommodation space. Small kitchen, but adequate for your needs. Nice outdoor area overlooking two ponds, heaps of bird life. Overall, a great place to stay.
