Tutukaka apartments

We have stayed before, and Cedar Heights Chalet continues to be our yearly go to place. Nestled in bush, high up in the hills, with views over Ngunguru, this place is just a delight to stay at. There is everything at the Chalet that you need. The place is tastefully decorated, clean, and with comfortable beds. The birdlife and surrounds are beautiful, along with being able to see the stars through windows and a skylight if one wishes to. The owners and communication is easy. Cedar Heights Chalet is a place where you can rest and rejuvenate, a little oasis and slice of paradise!

Wonderfully little studio, fully appointed and private. We went adventuring each day around the local beaches and walks, was so nice to come back to the studio which was warm and cozy. Thanks so much for having us. Ben

We were grateful to be allowed at this property with our pets. Albeit the grass area on ground level is enough for potty breaks, the large reserve down the driveway makes up for a good romp in the grassy area. I travelled with my elderly Father and there were 14 large steps to climb to the entry of the studio but he managed well with the railings, it was the steep long concrete drive that needed lung support when walking back (haha) but it was worth the walk. The estuary is a short walk and beautiful as ever. The studio itself is well equipped and everything you need. Large shower is amazing and roomy (it doesn’t have an extractor so it can be a tad steamy but it passes quickly). Deck is pet friendly to close the gate to keep them secure. Beautiful setting, thank you for allowing us to stay.

This was perfect for us for our short stay and had all we needed. Having access to a laundry was great. We would definitely stay again.

The accommodation was good. Would have easily slept 5 with ample space for everyone. The communication was amazing. Questions were answered quickly. Any issues were dealt with the minimum of fuss. Would happily recommend to anyone interested in staying here. Looking forward to coming back.

Perfect location, tidy & clean. Not sure you're aware, the lamps in the main bedroom need bulbs.. but that didn't dampen the experience. We really enjoyed our stay.
