Our host, Mishal, was so warm and accomodating. He met us there on arrival and immediately made us feel very welcomed and valued. The home was lovely, clean, spacious and very appealing, I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Fiji, Sigatoka, Korotogo which is close to many of the luxurius resorts, without having to pay phenominal resort prices. It has a great stove, a full size refrigerator/freezer and a washing machine as well. It had everything we required.
On day 1, we had an issue with one of the toilets and Mishal got the plumber in straight away to deal with it, we were so grateful for his timely response.
Truly, it is a lovely place to stay and you will not regret it, if you choose this place. we were so grateful for staying there as it was our first time in Fiji and we were a little nervous on arrival. Now we will only ever think of Mstys Coastal Escape with a lot of fondness and happiness

We loved our stay in so many ways, it's hard to know where to start! Vale Sekoula is a spacious, very liveable house in a quiet location with a beautiful garden, lovely pool and amazing sea views - it would have been easy to spend our whole time there. The kitchen is well equipped and local stores, although small, have plenty of supplies for self-catering if that's what you want to do. The location also answered to our version of Tourism to a T - it's a very relaxed neighbourhood that is easy to wander about, meeting more locals than tourists, and you can opt in or out of tourist activities as much as you like. Vinaka vakalevu especially to Vinna and Robert for the warm welcome and being so helpful and kind during our stay. We are already discussing when we can come back!

We had a lovely time at the villas. We were four adults, a two year old and an infant. The villa was really large, a good kitchen and facilities. The pool was perfect and we almost always had it to ourselves with only one other group staying. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, a walk along the old sugar cane railway and dinner out at The Junction restaurant. Rusi and Kelera were always helpful and communication was easy. You have to be very vigilant with small children as the pool is deep and unfenced and there is small cliff edge at the front of the property (with some bushes in front) but I think this is the case at most resorts etc with pools. This would be an amazing place if you had a big group and wanted to rent multiple villas! We used Coral Coast transfers to and from the airport and they were good value.

Rob and Deborah were terrific hosts! Easy to communicate with and so willing to help - as an example a new table lamp was provided as soon as we asked for better light to read by. We were invited to help ourselves to passionfruit which were plentiful and luscious. Paw paw were delivered to our doorstep. Great to have our laundry done for us for a small fee.
The beach is almost deserted, white sands, clear water and blue herons fishing. Lovely little islands offshore.
The cottage was perfect for the two of us, comfy bed, nice large shower and a great wee deck to enjoy the warm air and gentle breezes.
Also great wifi which was very important for us.
We hope to return next year! Many thanks Rob and Deborah.

Our extended whanau had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights. It is the perfect place for a large family.
The staff were wonderful and nothing was a problem and they were very flexible. Providing fresh pawpaw, coconuts and coconut milk and generally looking out for us.
We mostly self-catered with the exception of one delicious banquet cooked by Chef Jay (who we can highly recommend). The local supermarket had basic supplies so a trip to the nearest town Sigatoka is needed to stock up for home cooking.
There are a couple of local restaurants within as easy walk that do cheap, delicious food, as well as a petrol station.
We did not hire a rental car and got around ok using local transport and met lots of friendly locals.
We had an absolute blast in this lovely place and can highly recommend it to any larger group looking for the perfect relaxing holiday.

Tropical getaway

Nice, fully self contained cottage set a few steps from the beach amongst tropical gardens and Lilly ponds. The area is peacefull, and we enjoyed having the sandy beach virtually to ourselves. We snorkelled down the eastern end amongst coral and fish. The hosts were friendly and welcoming; Alex is involved in coral restoration, and can take guests out to see this and to other outer reef snorkeling sites for a fee.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Family holiday in Island Paradise

A unique and beautiful spot right on the water in Fiji. With no end of exploration and discovery options offered in Taveuni from ocean sports off the front deck to hiking, horse riding, farms, villages, rainforests, waterfalls, it is a fantastic spot for a family holiday. Much more laid back and close to the natural Fiji than the Touristy and busy North Coast of Viti Levu and nearby islands. Ably assisted by the property caretaker and local host Loata, everything is effortless to organise. We have spent a lot of time in Taveuni in the past and it is one of our favourite parts of Fiji and we'll be back again.
