Lovely spacious, light-filled studio room with views across the street and to trees beyond. Good size kitchenette and we appreciated the milk and tea bags. We also appreciated the early check-in. The weak point of this place is the bathroom handbasin. It is tiny and there is no vanity bench.Also can I suggest some new coat hangers? You'll see from the listed photos that the outside steps are steep, which is not necessarily a problem but there are two things to look out for. Firstly, the depth of the tread. It is very narrow so you have to walk sideways otherwise you'll tear the leather off the back of your shoes. Secondly, there is no handrail. That said, the room has a great heat pump so it's lovely and warm. The bed is super comfortable with good linen and there are plenty of fluffy towels. It's conveniently located close enough to the airport and the city centre - both an easy Uber ride away. The Hataitai village shops are within easy walking distance.Shelley was good to deal with and she responded quickly to my questions.We would definitely consider staying here again.

Another perfect stay at Maison du Soliel. Danielles houses are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Its great to have a garage, close to the inner city, great proximity to everything.Danielle is a wonderful host, we'll be back for sure.

Very nice place and an amazing couple

This property was exactly as shown. Everything you need, very clean and tidy and in a great location. The hosts were great at communicating and were helpful/flexible regarding arriving slightly early and leaving bags before we flew out of town. Excellent hosts. Would definitely book again with them. The house is clean and tidy. All basic needs are provided for. Great bathroom and kitchen. Everything is great. The property is a perfect place for when you need to get away and switch off from the noises of the city. The big fenced grassed ground is perfect for our dog to run around, she loves it. Did I mention that the host, Annette, was amazing. Highly recommended!

When arriving at this property we were absolutely amazed at the view from the deck. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful spot. Fantastic access to the beach and only a short drive into coromandel town. We enjoyed many days at the beach kayaking and swimming and then returning to the deck to enjoy our evening. Only a short walk across the road and we were able to experience the sunset. The facilities and overall feel of this property are second to none. The pool table is also an added bonus too! Lisa was a fantastic host with prompt communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks Lisa for sharing your bach with us. The location is out of this world and was where I popped the question to my partner. I’d recommend this bookabach to anyone. Words simply can’t describe how awesome our holiday was! Cosy cottage beautifully restored to a very high standard. Peaceful manicured Zen garden. Well appointed with everyone you could wish for. Extremely good value. Central location. Very secure and private. You would be hard pressed to find better. Highly recommended. Thankyou for a wonderful stay in Christchurch.
