Found this to be a really warm, modern place to stay. Located up on the treeline, the views are fantastic, and even better when the sun sets. Hot tub was warm on arrival and a very welcome way to enjoy the evening.

Beautiful stay

Loved our stay in Charleston! Was the perfect base to head to Punakaiki and Westport for day trips. The beach was right on our doorstep, and the cottage was very cute, had everything we needed. Thank you Val, Nigel and family!

Absolutely loved staying at this accommodation! Beautiful building with great windows to show off the stunning views of the lake. We really enjoyed the whole process of setting up and using the hot tub. Great location - close to Moana Lake Brunner. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and made lots of wholesome memories. A great little find! So comfortable and cosy, and the we had everything we needed for a couple of nights away. The stars were beautiful from outside and inside the hut, bathing under the stars was lovely, and the photos and railway knickknacks just tied everything together.

Great Disconnect

Well equipped little hut that is ideal to disconnect from the world and just chill out. They've done a great job of making the hut comfortable and functional without frills. We didn't end up using the bath because it was just too hard to get fire going. A little attention here would make that more enjoyable and usable.
